Ice Storm December 2008

Friday morning we woke up to no power and lots of icy trees. It sounded like lumberjacks were cutting trees and dropping them to the ground. We went 48 hours with no power and 60 more without cable/Internet/phone. We were lucky enough to stay at my parents who have a generator to run the "vital organs" of the house.
